Copyright policy
Last updated: October 14, 2026. StudyZone respects the rights of authors, teachers, and publishers, and expects every contributor to do the same.
1. Our commitment
StudyZone exists to help students learn from each other. We only want notes that contributors have the right to share. We respond promptly to valid copyright complaints and remove infringing material.
2. What you may upload
- Notes, summaries, mind maps, and diagrams written or drawn by you.
- Your own solutions to problems, written in your own words.
- Material you have written permission to share from its owner.
- Short quotations used for explanation, with the source clearly credited.
3. What you must not upload
- Scanned or copied pages from textbooks, reference books, or guides.
- Paid coaching institute material, test series, or online course content.
- Notes or handouts created by teachers or classmates without their permission.
- Leaked or confidential question papers and answer keys.
- Any content that removes or hides the original author's name or watermark.
4. Ownership of your notes
You keep the copyright in the notes you create. By uploading, you grant StudyZone permission to host and share them on the platform as described in our Terms of use. Your author name is shown with each approved note.
5. Reporting copyright infringement
If you believe that content on StudyZone infringes your copyright, please email support@techsoloindia.com with the subject "Copyright complaint" and include:
- Your full name and contact details.
- A description of the original work you own.
- The link to the note on StudyZone that you believe infringes your rights.
- A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by you or the law.
- A statement that the information in your complaint is accurate and that you are the owner, or are authorised to act on behalf of the owner.
6. What happens next
We review every complete complaint, usually within 7 working days. While we review it, the reported note may be hidden from public view. If the complaint is valid, the note is removed and the uploader is notified. If we decide the complaint is not valid, the note is restored.
7. Counter-notice
If your note was removed and you believe this was a mistake, or that you had the right to share it, you can reply to support@techsoloindia.com with an explanation and any proof of your rights. We will review your counter-notice and may restore the note.
8. Repeat infringers
Accounts that repeatedly upload infringing material may lose download credits and may be suspended or permanently closed.
9. False claims
Please submit complaints honestly. Knowingly false or misleading copyright claims may lead to the complaint being rejected and, where relevant, legal consequences under applicable law.
