1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account, uploading notes, or browsing and downloading material on StudyZone, you agree to these Terms of use, our Privacy policy, and our Copyright policy. If you do not agree, please do not use StudyZone.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use StudyZone. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has reviewed these terms with you.

3. Your account

• Provide accurate information when registering and keep your study details up to date.
• Keep your password confidential. You are responsible for all activity that happens through your account.
• Tell us immediately if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
• One person may hold only one account. Accounts may not be sold or shared.

4. Uploading notes

• Upload only notes you created yourself or that you have clear permission to share.
• Files must be PDF or DOCX, within the size limit shown on the upload page, and free of viruses or harmful code.
• Titles, summaries, subjects, and categories must accurately describe the content.
• Every submission is reviewed by an administrator. We may approve, reject, request changes to, or later remove any submission at our discretion.
• By submitting a note, you give StudyZone a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce, and distribute it on the platform for educational purposes. You keep ownership of your work.

5. Download credits

• New accounts receive free download credits, and approved contributions earn additional credits as shown on the platform.
• Guests may download a limited number of notes before they need to sign in.
• Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred or sold, and may be adjusted or withdrawn if they were obtained through misuse.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Upload content that is illegal, plagiarised, pirated, obscene, hateful, harassing, misleading, or that contains other people's personal information.
• Upload leaked exam papers, paid coaching material, textbooks, or any copyrighted material you do not have the right to share.
• Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to download content in bulk or to create accounts.
• Try to bypass download limits, attack, overload, or interfere with the security of the platform.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your connection with any institution.
• Sell or commercially redistribute notes downloaded from StudyZone without the author's permission.

7. Educational content disclaimer

Notes on StudyZone are created by students and are provided for learning and revision only. They are not official material from any university, board, or exam body. We do not guarantee that notes are complete, accurate, or up to date. Always verify important information with your textbooks, teachers, and official syllabus.

8. Suspension and termination

We may warn, suspend, or permanently close accounts and remove content that breaks these terms, our policies, or the law. You may stop using StudyZone at any time and ask us to delete your account.

9. Limitation of liability

StudyZone is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, StudyZone and its administrators are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, exam results, loss of data, or damages arising from your use of the platform or reliance on any note.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date shows the latest version. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
